Vintage Channel
The Vintage channel uses our unique sweep able EQ control that can go from darker to super bright, and mid-focused tweed tone. So much cooler than a single knob treble/bass control. The Volume control allows you to play it wide bloody open and clean it up by rolling your guitar volume down a bit. Pure vintage tone sweetness and crunch!
Modern high-Gain channel
Separate Gain and Volume controls, and more traditional Treble and Bass controls, this channel can play clean, dirty, or in-between at volumes from "don't wake the baby" to "turn that thing down!" volume. Any way you want, you got it.
Hand Wired for Tone and Long Life
Pure analog, hand-wired tube circuitry with musical warmth and dynamic feel. MIL-Spec turret board with NASA-style build quality for ruggedness and long life. Has a low noise floor with quality components — for all the tone without annoying buzz, hum, and hiss.
Touch Sensitive and Responsive
It's very touch-sensitive and reactive to your touch. You can get lead tones with the amp turned up, then slightly roll back your guitar volume to get the amp dead clean.

The old two channel amps gave you a clean/distortion option. Usually, one was good, the other so-so. At Texas Tone, we pack two differently voiced preamps amps into one package - in phase, not out of phase like vintage Fenders.
A Vintage channel that can play from don't-wake-the-baby quiet to gig-level. It loves to be played wide open, where it has that sweet and creamy vintage amp overdrive on tap, and it loves pedals.
The Modern channel, with separate Gain and Volume controls, can go from bedroom quiet to heavy gig loud, for pure cleans to nasty distortion, and is still pedal-friendly!
One example is to set the Modern channel to Fender black-panel like cleans for country of jazz, and the Vintage channel wide open. Like switching between a black panel and a tweed. Or set the Modern channel for some serious overdrive/distortion and the Vintage channel for mellow old-school vibes. The possibilities are endless!
The Combo is a loud, versatile amp with a single 12-inch ToneSpeak™ speaker that is perfect for blues and rock. Vintage American tone with tight lows and warm, smooth mids and highs, with strong upper mid emphasis and extended highs. With the Texas Tone Ranger, whether you want to play clean or dirty at any volume from loud to quiet, you get great tone. On the Combo with two independent channels, plug into both and blend them!
