This set of three (3) JJ ECC83S tubes features a short plate spiral filament design that offers an inherently low noise flow and resistance to mechanical noise and microphonics. These qualities make them perfect for use in audio equipment, particularly in tube amplifiers and high gain stages, as well as for guitar accessories.

These tubes offer thick mids and slightly more high-end response than the ECC83S, making them ideal for audio equipment where a slight mid push and added chime are desirable. They perform excellently in input stages or in all positions within vintage tube amplifiers. We successfully used them alongside current Balanced triodes for phase inverter applications, enhancing the overall performance of our guitar accessories.

Our Frame Grid style offers a high-quality, low-noise replacement for any 12AX7 type tube, making it an ideal choice for audio equipment. We typically use these in the first preamp position, usually V1, which is essential for enhancing the performance of tube amplifiers and improving your overall sound. The classic 6V6 traits offer a tighter low-end response and very smooth but punchy overdriven tones, making them ideal for use in high-quality audio equipment, including tube amplifiers, with applications up to 500VDC on the plates. The JJ 5881 is a classic 23-watt stubby bottle 6L6 variant, ideal for various audio equipment applications. We utilize these tubes in setups with up to 500VDC on the plates, making them suitable for almost any 6L6 application. The breakup occurs earlier than a standard 6L6 and transitions very smoothly. They deliver a delightful 'jangle' for days! We LOVE these tubes! The C12N is one of the most important speakers in Jensen’s history and stands out as the top 12” speaker of the ‘Blackface Era. Widely utilized by many American manufacturers in the mid ‘60s for their upper range models, this speaker became essential when the price of Alnico made it challenging for manufacturers.
